Michelle Obama, the United States of America First Lady, looked amazingly beautiful in the Obama administrations first official state dinner.

Michelle Obama looked glamorous in a sleeveless, floor length gold and cream-coloured sheath dress which she paired with a light shawl. The elegant strapless gown was made by an Indian-American designer named Naeem Khan.
The First Lady Michelle Obama welcomed Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his wife Mrs. Gursharan Kaur to the White House Tuesday night.
Many noticed Michelle Obama’s change of style. She is known for her controversial and risky fashion statements. But this time, even her makeup was kept to a minimum and her hair was simply done in a dignified updo.
Still, there was a a few Michelle-style flourishes like the chandelier earings and a stack of glittering gold-and diamond bangles piled high on her left arm. Michelle Obama likes to favor little-known artisans over big names. Her gown maker, Khan, Has been around the fashion industry since 2003. He outfitted talented and popular celebrities such as Carrie Underwood, Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez. He also dressed dignitaries like Queen Noor and designed the costumes for the movie “Dreamgirls.”
