Bacon and Asparagus Pasta Recipe
Let’s be frank: Bacon makes everything better. Here, it’s paired with crunchy asparagus for a new pasta dish. Try adding a splash of cream to the mixture for a creamer sauce.

It serves 4. Preparation time is 5 minutes. Cooking time is 7 minutes.
Bacon and Asparagus Pasta Ingredients:
1 400-gram pack fettuccine
1/4 cup olive oil
2 bunches asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1 1/2-inch lengths
4 strips bacon, chopped
1 cup finely grated Parmesan
Bacon and Asparagus Pasta Cooking Procedures:
1. Cook pasta in a large saucepan of boiling, salted water for 4 to 5 minutes, following package instructions. Drain well.
2. Meanwhile, heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large frying pan on high. Saute asparagus for 2 to 3 minutes until tender. Transfer to a plate.
3. Saute bacon in the same pan for 2 to 3 minutes until crisp. Add remaining oil, pasta, asparagus, and Parmesan to pan. Season to taste. Toss well. Serve topped with more shaved Parmesan.
