Accounting Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Provide efficient support in the daily financial operations through diligent monitoring and review of related transactions
- Assist in the development of financial models and business analyses, forecast and budget
- Review and determine the accuracy of supporting documents for all claims, payments, bank and other accounting transactions in compliance with accounting practices and guidelines
- Gather accurate data for financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements. Assist in ensuring that the following financial reports are in accordance with generally acceptable accounting principles : Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement; Interface with internal and external auditors; Tax compliance and Planning
Company Confidential Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent diploma in Business Administration specializing in Accountancy
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA), an added advantage
- Strong professional background on general and cost accounting, 2 years of which in supervisory capacity
- Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial controls
- Good background on bookkeeping, accounting, accounts receivable and payable, as well as financial statement preparation
- Proven professional maturity, integrity, and energy to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent organizational, collaboration, people-handling, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and a team player with the ability to work with minimum supervision
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Three (3) permanent positions available (Group of Companies)
