Inventory Control Assistant

Responsibilities:
Basic Function: Monitoring and control of inventory branchwide.

Outline of Duties & Responsibilities:

* Import branch daily sales transactions into the Peachtree Accounting software.
* Generate branch In-Transit inventory items and forward to Warehouse for consolidation.
* Generate consolidated daily Inventory Report and disseminate branchwide.
* Review and monitor branch Min/Re, clearance, DC/SP items, as well as Inactive items with quantity on hand.
* Generate and review branch re-order worksheet, tracking template and generate Purchase Orders.
* Forward branch Purchase Orders to Warehouse for preparation of goods.
* Prepare branch Receiving Reports and for the shipments from foreign suppliers.
* Make inventory adjustments in the Peachtree Accounting system when necessary.
* Update the Peachtree Accounting system i.e. prices changes, new item IDs, item description, etc
* Peform other functions as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree , Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
* At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
* Required skills: Inventory Control Management, Data Encoding and Computerised Accounting System
* Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Finance – General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
